I bailed yesterday citing that I'm keeping the excitement for tomorrow and shall not disappoint. Vipesh, Aseem and I, after the meeting grabbed our towels and soap and made our way towards scores of other sleeping Yatris through all the bogies and into the Bathroom compartment. It was a thing of ingenuity. I have written about it in my previous blog, and heard about it from Samarth a couple of months ago, but this was the first time I'd seen it. Vipesh and Aseem were there a few minutes before I was and they'd begun. I flicked out my phone and asked their expert advice and put it on social media before getting in myself.
The water, as you'd have probably guessed was freezing cold. Vipesh was already shivering. I filled a bucket and went in, careful not to slip and fall as I did. Zipped it close and began my first shower aboard the Jagriti Express! Many new phrases are coined on entrepreneural journeys, friends. Words like Growth Mindset, Positive Reinforcement, Social Innovation all came in with Entrepreneurs doing new things. One such genius phrase that came out of here, quite literally in this case, was "Don't shake my bathroom!"
You see, as the train chugged on, there were sharp spots where is people more often than not, lost their balance. And the plastic cage would start vigorously shaking much to the horror of it's half naked occupant covered in soap. I had a scare myself as I almost tipped and fell over in one occasion!
The late night sanitization adventure done with, we skipped back into our sheets and snoozed. After a long and eventful day, a few hours of shut-eye was most welcomed.
